Russell & Lindsay's new house

CONGRATULATION'S  To Russell & Lindsay.
They Just Closed On Their New Home.
We are are so excited, the house is so cute. They have not gotten a chance to move into it yet,
They have like 21 windows that need to have blinds put in. So they are having them installed maybe next week. Then we are having a big moving party.
Anyway We are very Proud of them. Can't wait for everyone to see it.
I'll send more pictures later. So you  can see the inside. And yes Russell dropped her,
UMMM my poor Lindsay. If she only knew what she was getting her self into. I know,
I birth the boy and have raised him for 24 years. She has only know him for 4 years.
Oh well she'll learn. He's just like Mike never a dull moment when ever you around them.
And I would not have it any other way.

Private License's

Well it is official. Just has passed his test and now has his official Private License. I can not tell you how proud Mike and I are of him. This is something Justin has wanted to do since he was a little boy. He actually flew his first plane when he was 1o years old. Yes I said flew. We had a friend who owned several planes and on Justin's 10th birthday Don took him, Mike and Russell up and Justin actually flew the plane. It was kinda funny because he had to set on books to see over the controls. But was even funnier was Russell was in the back videoing it, while Mike has his head in a paper sack throwing up. Russell got that on tape to. What is so scary about Justin flying is he is only in his 1st semester but is well ahead of him self in class. We still do not know where the boy gets it from..... Anyway we could be more prouder of him...... WAY TO GO JUST>>>

A Trip To Walmart.

We all know how hard it is to go to the stores during the holidays, I would all most rather take a beating then to have to go and get groceries. Last time Mike and I went to the store we got into Judy's line, I though Mike was going to hurt Judy before we left. Today we were in Sue's line when we got up to the register we though we were doing good Sue only had one person in line. As Mike starts to unload the cart, there seems to be a problem with the lady in front of us. Evidently she needed a price check......
It's to late to get into another line with the groceries all piled up and people are now behind us. I could see that look in Mikes eyes, I thought OH HELL HERE WE GO all I could think about was poor Sue. So like always I picked up a magazine and tried not to look at Mike. After what seem like a life time finally Sue finished with the lady in front of us. Now it was time for us, by this time Mike is pacing. Now take in mind Mike is up there with Sue and I am at the end where you start to put your groceries on the belt, and Mike has now cleaned out the buggy and ALL OF THE groceries are on the belt. Sue totally looks pasted Mike and yells down to me. SO how's it going way back there. OH SUE, SUE, SUE. Now Sue starts to check us out.....1 - item - at -a - time. This is no lie I walked away went back to the book section checked out a few books came back and Sue was still checking out Mike
1 -item - at - a -time. I went to the bathroom and Sue is still checking out Mike 1 - item - at - a -time. The guy behind, the guy behind us yells at Sue and says hey Sue you must be a popular lady seems like everybody comes to your line. I thought this is it Mike is going to blow. I have to say I am very very PROUD of my husband he did not say a word. He just kept on smiling and loading groceries. Now what normally takes an hour, hour in a half has now been 3 hours. After we get home and unload the groceries this is what I found in our living-room. Poor Mike is wore out. The man can fight fires, run marathons and cut grass in scorching hot sun, but an afternoon with SUE just does him in.

Thanksgiving 08

WOW! What a weekend it was. Mike, Angel and I started out early Thursday morning running a 5K. It was in Hendersonville at the new shops at Indian Lake. We hope to make this an annual thing. After that we went to my sisters house, Suzanne. We had the best time, if I counted right there was 23 of us. We just keep bigger and bigger. This year Suzanne did something really cool, she ordered these little ornaments that we all had to sit down and paint. You could not leave until you painted one. That was pretty cool. The food was AWSOME as always. Then we got up the next morning and went shopping. This year we went to Murfreesboro to the new out door mall called the Avenue. If you have not gone I suggest you do. After shopping all day, I think Mike and I were in bed by 9:00 which is rare. I will have to say I was so sore Saturday and Sunday my hair even Hurt. Sunday I spent the day with Jennings and Jacquelyn and Oprayland Hotel taken pictures. I think I got some really good pictures of them. (I hope). Then Justin, Alayna and I watched movies that night. All and all it was a crazy weekend but it's times like this I love. I love spending time with my family.

Engagement Pictures

O.K so my niece has gotten me into blogging. For those of you who know me know I love to take pictures.  A few weeks ago Russell,Lindsay and I went out to Cheekwood to take their engagement pictures. So I thought I would share a few of them with you guy's. Also here is a little history behind Russell and Lindsay. They have been dating for 4 years. Russell ask Lindsay to marry him on her 21st birthday. They both love the lake, so that is where Russell decided to ask her while out on the boat. So he dives into the lake (with the Ring in his pocket) and comes back up and to tell lindsay he has found something. Afraid of it might be she tells him she does not want to see it. Knowing Russell it could be a dead fish. When he gets back into the boat he shows her something in a plastic bag. Still a little scared she ask what it is, he gets on one knee pulls out the ring and ask if she will marry him. and she said YES....(YEAH). The wedding is set for the 26th of September at Hermitage golf course. We are all so excited. So here are a few of the pictures I took for their engagement.
