We all know how hard it is to go to the stores during the holidays, I would all most rather take a beating then to have to go and get groceries. Last time Mike and I went to the store we got into Judy's line, I though Mike was going to hurt Judy before we left. Today we were in Sue's line when we got up to the register we though we were doing good Sue only had one person in line. As Mike starts to unload the cart, there seems to be a problem with the lady in front of us. Evidently she needed a price check......
It's to late to get into another line with the groceries all piled up and people are now behind us. I could see that look in Mikes eyes, I thought OH HELL HERE WE GO all I could think about was poor Sue. So like always I picked up a magazine and tried not to look at Mike. After what seem like a life time finally Sue finished with the lady in front of us. Now it was time for us, by this time Mike is pacing. Now take in mind Mike is up there with Sue and I am at the end where you start to put your groceries on the belt, and Mike has now cleaned out the buggy and ALL OF THE groceries are on the belt. Sue totally looks pasted Mike and yells down to me. SO how's it going way back there. OH SUE, SUE, SUE. Now Sue starts to check us out.....1 - item - at -a - time. This is no lie I walked away went back to the book section checked out a few books came back and Sue was still checking out Mike
1 -item - at - a -time. I went to the bathroom and Sue is still checking out Mike 1 - item - at - a -time. The guy behind, the guy behind us yells at Sue and says hey Sue you must be a popular lady seems like everybody comes to your line. I thought this is it Mike is going to blow. I have to say I am very very PROUD of my husband he did not say a word. He just kept on smiling and loading groceries. Now what normally takes an hour, hour in a half has now been 3 hours. After we get home and unload the groceries this is what I found in our living-room. Poor Mike is wore out. The man can fight fires, run marathons and cut grass in scorching hot sun, but an afternoon with SUE just does him in.
